PLAYING INTO THE HANDS OF FAILURE

Quite many times we dream dreams. We imagine and envisage things; sometimes we see our future before us as a sneak peek. We see ourselves in the life of others. We look at our parents and imagine that day that they will be no more, well-aged though we hope.

They share the message in the neighbourhood, at the church or school, Mr….just passed, GrandPa passed away our classmate passed for us to see no more.

Honestly, they make no meaning until we grew older in life. You begin to fear failure and death at the expense of life in itself.

Religion offers us so much hope against fear and death. Yet, we still doubt dying ever until we become victims of circumstance; to sickness, ailment or disease. The religious hope will then become embraceable.

For those unmarried, single, spinster or aged single lots of thoughts runs through either to be married ever or develop a new mindset. These mindsets come with age also. A prophet said I will be this and that in the future. A new future came in marriage whether you achieved the former prophecy or not. If you are lucky enough to have your dreams fulfilled, you think you have the best life. Congratulations!

Some of us, have the best of the best of things around but have allowed fear of failure to fail after all. A seer told you, your spouse is a man of the opposite sex, not to worry we shall do (work) something about it.

A seer told you if you allow your spouse to go abroad, she will leave you for another man, child or no child, but we shall do something about it.
Meanwhile, your spouse is ignorantly ignorant of all these you walked yourself into. The good things you have worked for begin to clamp down gradually. The moment you got the message, doubts, distrust, setbacks, fear and irreverence begins to set in your mind to develop a new mindset either in your marriage, courtships or relationships.

These are one of the many ways we play into our failure. A man will always be a man while a woman will always be answerable to one man by creation.

There is no equality between men and women but balance, which is determined by mutuality.
Instead of promoting Gender equality, we should be promoting Gender balancing. There can never be any equality between men and women. With balancing, we weigh with consideration that:

  1. Pregnancy
  2. Natural weakness
  3. Childbearing
  4. Menstruation
  5. These four tendencies naturally make inequality substantial and circumstantial.
    • The most common problem for all is influencing. Lots of things influence us all, parenting, school, religious group, society, books, games, devices and the internet.
    • A set of children were raised at home, schooled at home, the church at home etc. The University could not hold them back, they got their freedom expensively in a life moment unused to. One of them shared this as a Professor. Influencing is Key! It could either be positive or negative.
    • What is your fear? What makes you afraid? Your spouse’s way of life or your future? Many homes have been shattered by this conceived fear by one false prophet or the other.
    • Prophesies are for correction and guidance. How is the prophecy you are given influencing you and your mindset? Some do not even believe in prophecy at all.
    • As humans, we are blessed with dreams and visions. We should seek genuine counsel and not rely on visions. False seers will always see while the truthful ones seek counsel to counsel you. God did speak to Adam, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and Elijah but not every day. Why do want to hear God speak every time at all?
    • When we fail to develop our gifts, we run after seers all the time. By so doing, we play into our failure for the sake of fear.
    • Have your time for God through Christ Jesus. We can change prophecies in our private devotions. The Lord is available unto us all the time. Seek sound counsel and not a prophecy for a true prophecy to be revealed. The case of Hanna, the second wife proved this. The Prophet heard or saw nothing until his encounter with Hanna in her drunkenness kind of prayer. God spoke!
    • Seek good counsel and again, seek good counsel. Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 16, rebuked an evil and adulterous generation that seeks after Miracles (signs and wonders). Meanwhile, most preachers today do such.
    • Listen, before you play your fears into your failure by being influenced wrongly. We are all victims only the Grace of God has set some of us apart.
      David SST.

The Cashless Policy

The change in the current administration in Nigeria is quite bizarre.

The NIT policy to enable and improve broadband for over 20yrs now is still a major uncompleted structure. Is all digging through the streets, some areas completed and some abandoned and the pipes littering all over.

We are forced to abide by every policy. Long queues and chaos never stop at every human gathering opportunity. All good to #covid19 that measurably promoted the social distance knowledge and learnings.

Only through health-evolved pandemonium do we abide to distance self from self. Another instance was the #Ebola Memphis.

After all that, we resume back to our usual doldrum even mindless of any effects from the previous social distancing. Recently, a customer sneezed before me and I felt the droplets on my back palm. I rushed up to the private toilet to wash up. Wait a minute, is this what my sales team pass through on daily basis? Resume PPe when the crowding begins, everyone.

The cashless policy enforcement has created serious health implications for cash owners, even daylight robbery and death.

The class of citizens was not well taken into cognisance; the literate and the less literate demography of the population.

Amidst the tension and pressure on the banks and vandalisation, the Govt concern is focussed on the Elections to avoid cash for electorate rigging and vote to buy mindless of the pains of the masses.

The new currency in short circulation has no general informative guidelines to detect originality. The whole economy is at risk and also at the mercy of the Government.

It is so obvious to the masses that a big-wig political party could cripple the economy all because of one man.  The Bible has spoken about the effect of one man.

No matter the Policy, it would benefit whomever.

The cashless policy is good and enforcement should have been made gradual, sensitizing the population pace by pace.

The force effect of the Cashless policy is a hardship on the masses. The crippling effect is massive.

CORE BEHAVIOR IN WORKPLACE

Core behaviors may well be the most important foundational element of your organization’s culture that you’ve never heard of. Here’s what you’re missing:

Core Behaviors are relational and apply to every team member, from the CEO to Front Office Personnel. They represent the minimal behavioral standards for everyone on a team. They are the ante to play.

Because they apply to everyone, they are universally understood, making them more meaningful and less likely to be ignored. They differ from Core Values because they are not aspirational at a higher level. You either comply with them, or you’re off the team.

Core Behaviors are also a great predictor of who would be a good fit to be on the team. Here’s a simple process utilizing core behaviors that you can employ when looking for new team members:

To start, think through your entire staff and identify two team members; 1) a great employee and 2) an underperforming employee.

List both atop a chart as “Employee A” (the overperformer) and “Employee B” (the underperformer).

Write down what makes Employee A great for your team. List;

  • their character traits,
  • everything they do well,
  • describe how and why they do it. Then, write down what makes Employee B, a non-fit for your team. List;
  • their character traits,
  • everything they don’t do well,
  • describe how and why they fail at it.

Next, compare the two lists and rank all the character traits collectively, from most to least important. After that, from the same list, separate the “must-haves” qualities from the “nice to have” qualities.

The “must haves” will comprise your list of Core Behaviors.

This process for getting at core behaviors will tell us the difference between a great and an average employee. These will also be unique to your team and a good measure for future team members.

Organizations can optimize their success by holding ALL their people accountable to a robust set of Core Behaviors. Core behaviors tie directly back to your organization’s culture and reinforce your values and beliefs when kept “top of mind” (meaning discussed regularly within the business).

Are “core behaviors” missing from your organization’s culture?

When His Grandfather’s Farm Was Destroyed By an Invasive Plant, This 17-Year-Old Entrepreneur Came Up With an AI-Powered Solution

https://www.entrepreneur.com/finance/google-amazon-and-tesla-3-big-stocks-set-to-move-higher/437394

Determined to avoid completing 50 tediously long multiplication problems, Elias used Python to create a program that could do it for him.

But that was just the beginning.

As a freshman in , Elias encountered another problem in need of a solution while visiting his grandfather’s rice farm in . Because the farm is located in Kuttanad, a town that lies below sea level, it’s especially vulnerable when it rains or floods — an increasing issue with the shift in monsoon seasons.

That’s exactly what happened during Elias’s trip that summer.

“The floods actually brought in an invasive plant from the upper regions,” Elias tells Entrepreneur. “And that’s known as Giant Salvinia. My grandfather wasn’t able to identify that early enough, and as a result, that plant just overpopulated the entire farm.”

Elias began to learn more about invasive species, ultimately discovering just how many issues they cause across the globe — and realizing that AI could be the answer.

Illustration on Priorities

By Wayne Nelsen, President Keyne Insight, https://www.linkedin.com/in/waynenelsen/

Priorities are defined as something given or meriting attention before competing alternatives. It’s what you are willing to commit to and do. It’s about knowing and doing those things that are going to get the organization to realize its desired outcomes.

Achieving high levels of success in business is always predicated on establishing priorities within an organization. It’s what we choose to do each day and how we do it that makes all the difference.

Managing and executing your strategy is one of those commitments. It requires an enhanced level of involvement if it’s to be done well, which includes putting into place processes that ensure your key initiatives get completed while also continuing to deliver on day-to-day expectations.

Performing at this level takes time, effort, and a deeper level of thinking to accomplish and do it well.

Despite the potential for achieving greater outcomes, many organizations either misunderstand or aren’t willing to commit the effort it takes to put strategy execution into place.

Are these businesses and organizations really overburdened by their workloads to the point where they would forego completing an implementation plan for their strategy?

Or is it that their priorities are just focused on doing different things?

Here are some advantages that accrue to us when we implement and execute on strategy:

* People perform better when they are under observation (supported and given truthful, consistent, and constructive feedback),

* There is always “follow through” by leaders who hold a vested interest in those that report to them.

* People learn from their successes and failures as they are regularly discussed and examined,

* Leadership benefits by catching operational issues when they are small, early on in the process,

* Leadership is able to maintain a constant “line of sight” into the ongoing operation of the organization.

So the question remains as to why any organization would avoid utilizing such a process. Does the extra work involved outweigh the potential benefits?

Reality tells us that organizations with a strong desire to lead their industry or market segment find the time to manage the execution of their business strategy, they make it a priority.

They understand the benefits of achieving their plan year after year and the value that accrues to them and the organization as a result.

Similar to Stephen Covey’s “urgent and important matrix” there are common activities that need to be done.

Should your organization’s “common activities” be changing?

The Church today..

By Frances Taylor

We may be glad to head for the House of God, but I can remember my children not always feeling any joy, especially as teenagers. The Israelites, on the other hand, were happy to have a place of worship, where they could give thanks to God for all the times that they had been rescued from enemy nations. In today’s world, most of us can worship God in safety and so we take it for granted. In Sweden last year, a Catholic church was undergoing renovations and needed a place to hold its services so the Lutheran church in Lund, Sweden, allowed the Catholic parish to hold its services until the renovations were complete. When churches have been damaged, other churches step up and help out. In all of these situations, people are very grateful and are happy for the opportunity to worship God. Why is it that the churches aren’t full every Sunday? One of my friends who was pastor of a Congregational church was thrilled when he finally had enough children, ten, so that they could put on a Christmas pageant. Ten children! Another of my friends, a Baptist minister, had to allow another denomination to rent his church in order to pay the utility bills. Many of the churches in my area have part time ministers who work multiple churches to earn enough money to feed their families. We are so complacent. And yet, any time a church closes, there is an outcry. How did this happen, people ask. Of course the answer is that people aren’t attending and they’re not supporting their churches. If we want to turn this around, then we need to be the people who are glad to go up to the house of God and give him praise and glory.

Remembering 9/11 today like yesterday (21yrs ago).

Like in the movies are preconceived with crazy ideas, and the fall of the #WTC was conceived. Affirmatively, is now a stigma in the consciousness of the world. The fall of the World Trade Center and the cry of many souls that were lost in America 21yrs ago – day-to-day like yesterday. May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. Amen.

The Twin Tower – World Trade Center

Today is a candlelight session in some homes, while to some a night of vigil to prevent further evil, religious thanksgiving and all.

Evil and Good are conceived in a day. Would you associate with Evil or Good? How are you planning your days? What are those plans of yours and your group? Trying to take over…..by all means. Oh, am not afraid of death.

The fall of the World Trade Center.

Yes, everyone shall die, in one day. Choose to be good. You were born to survive, do good things and to also die. But why die young, why die so soon for the negative causes?

All peoples are made by the divine will of the Almighty God. We need help, your siblings need help, your family needs help, the society needs help, and so also our nation and continent. We should render aid where and when necessary and not during disasters. Lots of sick people needs help, we should assist them. It is a good thing to do good unto others.

The rescue team after the fall of the Twin Tower.

We #davaksystemsandtechnology commiserate with the people of the United States of America, and the rest of the world, especially those who are affected one way or the other by 9/11 brutality.

Today is a perfect day, the Lord has made it so, we cling unto the perfection over our families praying for mercies and healing.

We have dreams and hopes. How we love to visit Never Land, The Disney World, The pyramid of Egypt, the Coliseum in Italy, The Tomb of Christ in Israel, The Mediterranean Sea, The Calgary, Taj Mahal in India, The Dubai transformation, and a host of other beautiful and historical places of the World.

Stay with us and remember us, we love you always. Wishing you all (🗽 Americans and the rest of the world) a Happy 21st Anniversary with Thanksgiving. Peace ✌️!

Get your Learning position in your home?

Do you have a learning pattern? Do you have a learning corner? Is learning a part of you? Do you find comfort in learning engagements?

Welcome to this blog! During our kindergarten days we were positioned for learning. A ceramic seat and table, a long desk, and benches with the dummies and pebbles , one or two screen Tvs for lullabies etc..How  parents pay so much due to their busy schedules.

Later, we moved on to basics, primary, secondary, and institutions. Learning is a Journey!

Learning is a journey to be trusted!

After University, we seek for advance programs, post graduates, Masters and Doctorate degrees…. Very many dropped the learning journey at different stages of education for reasons best known to them.

Do we know that learning is a journey that is also endless? How are you positioned for learning as of today? A visit to a business workshop struck this in me…to get my learning position in my home.

Honestly, this never occurs to me that much, ever. I have been to homes of executives, and even accommodated in some affluence homes observed their study rooms with awards and furnished libraries, artifacts, thoughts images, photography, exposure etc… Oh! I crave to have such in the future.

Virtual learning and Remote working programs gave good insights on learning position and corners as an evidenced-based or provided by the company of engagement.

The visit to the workshop of a masonry, seeing the private desk corners for his records aside from the official work table, and observing his notes and memos blew my mind to have my learning and reading corner in my home either in the living room or bedroom.

The man said, once on that seat, I learn, develop, record, read, inscribe, and also conceive my new ideas. I longed to have a desk since that day and a day came that I drove along a road to discover this comfortable desk and seat for my private learning.

How do you get inspired? The man inspired me even though am an instructor and manager for over years.

A private desk for learning is necessary in every home.. It instills continuous learning. Although, it boils down to interest and circumstance. Learning is interesting using this approach. We need to be motivated to learn because it develops us for the future like from the kindergarten stages. Learning is endless because it prepares you ahead of time.

What are you learning? What you learn matters. Do not leave learning mainly for the Academias. Learning is for everyone and for all stratas of life. Seek for a guide for your personal learning and development in all you do by getting your Private desk and seat.

My desk and seat, are learning motivators.
